Emergency After Hours
While there are many emergency facilites near by, we do not have an emergency hopsital within the town of Woodstock nor do we offer after hours care; If your pet has an emergency we recommend you call one of the emergency veterinary hopsitals mentioned below. Please note that given the current state of veterinary medicine, with the shortage of both veterinrians and technicians, wait times will be long. Please be patient.

Smart Vet - Virtual Consultations |
**It is important to register for this service ahead of time if able to avoid further delays in your pets care in the event of an emergency

Call 647-695-5411 to speak to a technician in urgent cases *Call number is open 5PM-9AM, Mon-Thurs and 4PM Friday to 9AM Monday as well as stat holidays Smart.Vet is a 24/7 virtual care service that supports veterinary hospitals with a network of over 85 Ontario licensed veterinarians and RVTs. Clients can call and speak to one of the RVTs to see if a consultation is required. If a pet's symptoms suggest immediate care is needed, the RVTs will recommend a virtual consultation to start. There is no charge to triage your pet but advice will not be given until a consultation is completed. If a consultation is required, a full consultation fee will be applicable paid directly to Smart Vet. A virtual online consultation with you will result in either care provided, advise or a referral to the nearest available emergency clinic. FEES: $135.00 +TAX from 10:00 pm - 8:00 am; Friday at 10:00 pm to Tuesday at 8:00 am during long weekends (or Thursday at 10:00 pm to Monday at 8:00 am depending on the holiday) $115.00 +tax any other times outside the above time frames |
