Abdominal UltrasoundFull abdominal ultrasound scan to assess for underlying abnormalities. Less invasive than surgery, and more accurate than xray. Scan includes the kidneys, liver, spleen, intestinal tract, pancrease, stomach, bladder, and reproductive organs (if present).
Pregnancy UltrasoundPregnancy can be detected as early as 20 days post conception, however we recommend that any pregnancy scans be booked at day 30 for increased accuracy. *Note that it can be difficult to accurately count the number of viable fetuses at this early stage.
Individual OrgansWe can target our ultrasound to specific areas of the body as needed, such as the urogenital system. Targeted scans can be used to recheck abnormal systems detected previously on full abdominal scans or can be used to take ultrasound guided biopsy or fluid samples.
